Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and driven Architect to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional architecture—you’ll be designing for automation, shaping the future of housing, and helping us scale 3D printed construction to new heights. You’ll work closely with our engineering and R&D teams to create buildable designs optimized for our robotic 3D printing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structures tailored to 3D printing capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineers and leads to ensure designs are code-compliant, functional, and print-ready.
- Integrate innovative design methodologies into architectural plans.
- Develop detailed construction drawings, 3D models, and print files.
- Research and adapt building codes for emerging 3D printed construction techniques.
- Participate in client meetings and project planning from concept through completion.
Qualifications:
- Experience in architectural design (residential/commercial).
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
- Passion for innovation and interest in 3D printing, automation, and sustainable building.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
